Because I am a very slow learner, I decided to make another little stitched thing as a present. For the same friend, because she is amazingly patient. Here, have some hastily shot phonecamera photos.
It wasn’t going to be a finger puppet – I was going to stuff her full and stitch her up properly , but then I ended up making her into a tiny little cover-thingy for the real present. And she also just happened to be very roughly fingersized. Sort of.
Sigh.

A while ago, a friend of mine looked through my sketchbook and saw a toy design she liked. So, I finally made it for her.
His name is Busa-chan (or “Ugly”), but the face was heaps fun. You can’t tell from the photo, but the cloth used to make him was super super soft – combine that with some pretty loose stuffing and he’s very nice and cuddly.
Also one of my first attempts with a sewing machine, so that was cool
